The Hebrew Home at Riverdale by RiverSpring Living, a world-renowned long-term care organization located in Riverdale – North Bronx, serves over 18,000 older adults every day, both in the greater New York community and on our beautiful 32-acre campus overlooking the Hudson River. RiverSpring Living provides a full range of care solutions including nursing home care, managed long term care, assisted living programs, senior housing, rehabilitation services and specialized services such as elder abuse prevention and memory care. The role of the Certified Nurse’s Aide is to carryout routine nursing tasks under the supervision of the nurse. Day Shift hours 7am - 3pm, every other weekend Key Responsibilities Provide direct quality care to residents according to their individual care profiles. Assist with routine nursing tasks as assigned by the nursing staff. Ensure the comfort and well-being of residents through compassionate care and support. Document and maintain accurate records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. Collaborate effectively with nursing and healthcare teams to promote optimal resident outcomes. Qualifications/Skills/Experience: Certification: Valid NYS Nurse’s Aide Certification required. BLS AED required Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
