The R6 patient population includes adults and older adolescents with neurological and orthopedic conditions including closed head injuries, strokes, brain tumors, seizure disorders, multi-traumas, and conditions requiring neurosurgical intervention. In R6 IMC, closer observation, collaboration, and teamwork amongst the RNs and CNAs is required to support care needs of these higher acuity patients. The Bean 2 patient population consists of adults who have undergone joint replacement surgeries, and this unit serves as the Joint Center for our nationally recognized and Joint Commission accredited joint replacement program. This fast-paced unit consistently receives exceptional patient satisfaction scores. R6/IMC/B2 offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where teamwork, excellent communication, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to provision of care is expected.
