Summary The PICC Registered Nurse provides care to all patients requiring long-term, central or deep peripheral IV access for infusion of medications and fluids. Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures. Explain provider instructions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care to patients as directed. Provide compassionate, professional service that promotes a positive patient experience. Clinical Procedures: Administer oral and injectable medications, immunizations, and treatments as directed by the provider and permitted by state regulations. Assist with wound care, dressing changes, bandaging, irrigation of eyes and ears, and other clinical procedures.
