The Experienced Clinical Nurse at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care. Leukemia care includes diagnosis, induction, consolidation, maintenance chemotherapy and symptom management, as well as salvage therapies for relapsed disease. Patients with lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and mycosis fungoides are treated with chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic agents and radiation therapy.
