The Clinical Nurse Resident at MD Anderson Cancer Center manages patient outcomes by providing, coordinating and supporting clinical aspects of direct patient care across the continuum of care. Qualifications Minimum Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, (BSN, etc.) required Current RN state license required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Current ONS/ONCC® Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required within 90 days of start Must maintain any applicable continuing education requirements 3-5 years nursing experience required including at least one year in oncology preferred Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification strongly preferred Working Conditions: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
