Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all residents. Provide emotional support to residents and their families. Provide information to residents & staff by answering questions and requests. Maintain a cooperative relationship among health care teams. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Current New York State RN license in good standing. Familiarity with NYS Department of Health regulations and guidelines. Previous experience in long-term care preferred. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Functions as a leader for the CNAs; delegates in a manner that contributes to the excellence of the nursing unit to which LPN is assigned.
