This transition program involves didactic education, intensive bedside training, and preceptorship to close the knowledge gap between Level II and Level III NICU care. This structured program does not allow for flexibility, as nurses will move through the program as a cohort. Start Date: August 24. RNs will work 36 hours per week. The first 6 weeks are day shift. The final week is night shift. Once orientation is complete, RNs with work 36 hour per week, Day/Night rotation with every third weekend.
