Identified cardiopulmonary arrest and initiates CPR. Demonstrates adherence to Universal Precautions, Safety Programs and other infection control measures. Review fire, disaster, and infection control in manual. Demonstrates ability to perform responsibilities in emergency/code situation. Checks emergency equipment. Reports unsafe situations to the Registered Nurse or to the Clinical Manager. Minimum Qualifications Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide care to patients with consideration of aging processes, human development stages and cultural patterns in each step of the care process. Must have current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or in another state that participates in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Successful completion of the Hospital's Patient Care Delivery Orientation Program, which includes entry level credentialing of selected skills. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support. ACLS certification required. Experience Two years’ medical-surgical nursing experience and telemetry experience required. Two years Endoscopy experience preferred.
