Overview About the Role The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) is a skilled health provider who through a written collaborative practice agreement with a physician is credentialed through the Medical Staff Office. Overview About the Role Leverages extensive subject matter expertise on clinical systems and knowledge of clinical operations and workflows to coordinate the activities of medical staff in the planning, development, implementation, and support of clinical information systems/solutions to improve the delivery of patient care and hospital operations. Functions as a liaison between the clinical community and IT analysts, and a key resource for application and/or clinical workflows and software systems. Develops and manages complex projects. Works with clinical users to understand clinical information technology project needs. Recommends resource planning and support needs to ensure successful project implementation. Oversees the design and development of application programs from analysis to implementation and assists with these duties as needed. Direct experience with electronic medical records is a plus; prior Epic experience is highly desirable. Responsibilities The OB Scrub Technician provides direct care to obstetrical/neonatal patient under the direct supervision of a licensed RN. The OB Scrub Technician performs the role of surgical scrub for obstetrically related surgical procedures. Maintains aseptic environment during set-up for surgery or delivery and throughout surgical procedures.
