Location SAINT LOUIS, MO 63110 Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary The Nurse Manager, Infusion Center provides leadership, operational oversight, and clinical support for multiple outpatient infusion centers. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations across three infusion locations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while supporting staff development, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and patient satisfaction. The Nurse Manager leads a team of registered nurses and collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and administrative teams to optimize workflows and maintain excellence in outpatient infusion services. This leader will oversee care for a diverse patient population representing multiple specialties and will serve as a key resource for clinical operations, staffing, quality initiatives, and patient experience. Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday. No weekends or holidays required. Acts as troubleshooter, contact person, counselor and interviewer in patient care research projects, maintaining appropriate records. The Alton Mental Health Center is seeking to hire an energetic and detail-oriented licensed Registered Nurse to direct and oversee para-professional and non-professional nursing personnel, assuring that general health and nursing care needs are met for our patients. Essential Functions Serves as Clinical Nurse Manager for the Forensic Units AFC for the evening shift. Serves as full-line supervisor. Provides recommendations to the DON in the development of policies and procedures. Provides professional nursing services to patients including new admissions, administering medications, giving shots, taking medical histories, etc. Develops a plan to implement alternatives to restraint/seclusion which outlines the roles and responsibilities of program staff. Minimum Qualifications Requires licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of Illinois. Requires prior experience equivalent to three (3) years of progressively responsible professional nursing experience in a public or business organization. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years of professional experience supervising professional nursing staff, recommending and implementing disciplinary actions following collective bargaining agreements. Three (3) years of professional experience meeting deadlines with strong attention to detail and the ability to utilize critical thinking skills while multi-tasking multiple projects. Three (3) years of professional nursing experience working with individuals with mental illness. Three (3) years of professional experience recommending or preparing treatment plans for patients. Three (3) years of professional experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders in oral or written form relative to the care and treatment of patients. Three (3) years of professional experience recommending and implementing nursing policies and procedures following evidence-based practice and nursing standards.
