This care is in the LD patient rooms, triage or operating room. Staff ratio is 1-2 patients according to AWHONN guidelines. The nurse reports to the LD charge nurse. LD RN organizes care delivery by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, evaluating and communicating with all necessary providers and ancillary departments on an ongoing basis. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associate or Bachelors degree from an accredited school of nursing required. Current RN licensure in the state of Idaho. Evaluates, plans, implements and documents nursing care for patients in need of intravenous treatments or cellular therapeutic procedures. Determines and appropriately cannulates venipuncture sites in order to administer intravenous therapy treatments. Assists with obtaining insurance authorizations when needed. Provides information to patients and families regarding intravenous therapy. When the need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
