Performs required clerical work relating to Pre Calls. Keeps medical record complete and in order and ensures all parts of the medical record are properly identified by patient label. Enters all pre call information accurately into the computer Enters patient medications into computer with accuracy Keeps unit supplied with all necessary stationary and other supplies at all times. Maintains economical utilization of supplies/equipment and orders supplies as necessary with cost awareness. Assists assembling charts when needed. Responds to patient and inquiries/comments, referring to appropriate personnel as indicated. Brings unusual patient information (i.e.; BMI, Medications, Requests etc.) to the attention of DON, Supervisor and other staff as necessary. Maintains a professional demeanor when talking to patients. Provides pertinent information to the patient concerning their surgery according to policy and procedure. Communicates openly with the scheduling department. Will perform any other duties requested by supervisors. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent. What We’re Looking For: • Education: High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred. • Driving: A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance are a must. • Background Check: Ability to pass a background check. • Communication: Able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
