Responsibilities Medical Assistant – Endoscopy Suite The Medical Assistant supports the nursing staff and daily operations of the endoscopy center by helping maintain a safe, organized, and efficient patient-care environment. Responsibilities include: Receive, organize, put away, and restock medical supplies. Monitor supply levels and notify the appropriate team member when items need to be reordered. Assist nurses in the admitting and PACU/recovery areas as directed. Clean, prepare, and turn over patient-care areas between patients. Set up recovery bays with the necessary supplies and equipment.
