This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Chicagoland area. Under the direction of an Attending Physician or a licensed independent practitioner, RN provides technically complex and high risk nursing care services to patients which may include one or more of the following categories: sedation, intravenous infusions, complex procedures. This may also include specialized monitoring during procedure and recovery phase; The RN may have Charge Nurse responsibility for his/her assigned unit. Essential Job Functions Handles confidential information consistent with Federal HIPAA legislation. Performs a variety of clinical and research procedures with efficiency and high standards of quality; assures that the proper protocol is used for each sedation. Accurately completes required patient assessment, documentation, and interpretations for each patient encounter. Possesses sound professional judgment for timely physician intervention as needed.
