Your per visit pay will be calculated by multiplying your per visit point rate by the productivity points you accrue for various types of visits. Each type of visit is assigned a certain number of productivity points that is inclusive of 'direct' and 'indirect' patient care activities. Visits are assigned based on patient and business needs. The number of visits performed each week will vary based on individual productivity targets and the productivity points assigned to the visits performed. JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for assisting residents with medications ordered by their appropriately licensed health care providers and as established in each residents individualized care plan. Able to accurately transpose medication orders to the MAR & make any needed corrections to the MAR according to physician orders. Obtain accurate pulse and respiration rate; obtains accurate blood pressure, body temperature, and blood glucose reading Accurately documents the effectiveness of medications given on an as needed basis and does so in a timely manner. Monitors medications for accountability by verifying medications have been ordered appropriately, are received as ordered, and controlled med drug counts are done at change of shift. Communicates effectively from shift to shift & to others (family, pharmacy, physician etc.) as necessary to facilitate the accuracy of any needed follow-up regarding resident medications. Routinely inspects, cleans and monitors the med storage system, equipment and supplies for resident safety. Reports any concerns to the supervisor for correction or repair.
