Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a clinical setting; orthopedic or surgical specialty experience is a plus. Proficiency in EMR systems and basic computer applications. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Preferred Skills: Experience with orthopedic-specific EMR systems (e.g., Athenahealth, NextGen, Epic). Familiarity with medical terminology, procedures, and durable medical equipment (DME).
