Neuropsychiatric Special Care (NSC) - Inpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program The Neuropsychiatric Special Care (NSC) Program provides acute, individualized and group based behavioral treatment for children and adolescents ages 4–17 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or intellectual disability who are experiencing a behavioral crisis. NSC nurses are essential members of an interdisciplinary team, delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a highly structured and supportive environment. The Nursing Role On NSC Behavioral Support & Observation NSC nurses partner closely with psychologists, BCBAs, Behavioral Health Clinicians and Behavioral Health Specialists to implement therapeutic interventions that help in behavior reduction. Nurses use ongoing observation and data-informed care to support patient safety, engagement, and progress. Structured Therapeutic Milieu Nurses help maintain a predictable, therapeutic milieu that promotes regulation, learning, and skill development. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) provides care for children with life-threatening illnesses as well as those who are at serious risk for life threatening complications. We care for children from birth to 21 years of age. Patients treated here are experiencing multi-organ system failure, acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, meningitis, septic shock, near drowning, diabetic ketoacidosis, renal and/or hepatic failure, oncology/bone marrow transplant or airway management, among other needs. Major diagnostic categories include respiratory, neurologic, injury/poisoning, trauma, oncologic and infectious disease. The PICU also provides care for patients receiving solid organ transplant as well as neurosurgical, burn, orthopedic, ENT and general pediatric surgical patients. Patients in the PICU are cared for by a multidisciplinary team including pediatric intensivists, RNs and dedicated PICU respiratory therapists, pharmacists, nutritionists, social workers and child life specialists. We provide family-centered care by identifying and addressing the needs of the patient and family throughout their hospitalization. Job Summary Enliven is seeking an experienced RN (Registered Nurse) to service home infusion and Infusion Center patients in Parker and surrounding locations. The ideal candidate must be well-trained and able to give the best nursing care possible with little supervision. They will educate patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits. Provide admission, case management, and follow-up skilled nursing visits for home infusion and infusion center patients. Administer ongoing care/infusions for each patient, and provide necessary follow-up as directed by the Physician and Clinical Manager. Confer with physicians and pharmacies to develop the initial treatment plan based on the physician's orders and the initial patient assessment. Provide hands-on care, management, and evaluation of the care plan and teaching of the patient under a physician based on ongoing assessments and as required by policy/regulation. Report patient care, conditions, and progress to the patient's physician, pharmacy, and Clinical Manager continuously. Implement patient care plan in conjunction with patient and family to assist them in achieving optimal resolution of needs/problems. Discharge patients after consultation with the physician and Clinical Manager, preparing and completing needed clinical documentation. Prepare appropriate medical documentation on all patients, including case conferences, patient contacts, medication order changes, re-certifications, progress updates, and care plan changes. Prepare visit/shift reports, update/summarize patient records, and confer with other healthcare disciplines to provide optimal patient care.
