They are responsible to act under physician orders and is a patient advocate. They are to adhere to all laws set forth at NJAC 8:41-10.3 which regulates specialty ambulance transportation by the New Jersey Department of Health. They provide care to patient ranging from neonatal through geriatric. Qualifications Education and Work Experience NJ Registered Nurse License. Current and valid Healthcare Provider ? BLS CPR card. Current and valid AHA ACLS card. Current and valid AHA PALS card or ENPC. Valid Driver's License. CEVO certification ? must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period. Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within three months of hire / transfer. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic (MICN) or Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic (MICP). Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) must be obtained for NJ Registered Nurses that have not yet obtained MICN or MICP certification. PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Ensure the provision of quality patient care to all hospitalized patients in the most efficient manner in accordance with company policy. Provides direct supervision and coordination of inpatient staff. Responsible for high volume monthly treatments. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the tactical execution of short- and long-term objectives through the coordination of activities with a direct responsibility for results, including costs, methods, and staffing. Educates patients and family. Promotes patient satisfaction. What We're Looking For EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. EXPERIENCE: Previous experience preferred LICENSURE/QUALIFICATIONS: Current license to practice professional nursing in New Jersey. Completes I.V. certification course as per Hospital policy. Completes CPR certification course as per Hospital Policy. Full-time, Day shift. 7am to 7:30pm.Rotational weekend Saturday and Sunday.
