Supervises ambulation of resident when needed. Proper attention is given that side rails are up on bed when needed. Completes dining room duty as posted by charge nurse. Is alert for spills on floor. Answers call bells as soon as possible. Makes rounds frequently. Reports need for repair and safety matters to charge nurse. Rehabilitation: Assists in ambulation, transfers, ROM exercises and good body alignment where indicated. Uses adaptive devices properly. Cooperates with all rehab disciplines. Keeps accountability sheets up to date with signatures as required. Has knowledge of proper procedure. Records results. Informs nurse of results. Assignments: Receives daily report from nurse. Consults assignment for special duties and sets proper priorities for following through on assignment. Is familiar with and takes proper action in meeting physical needs of resident.
