Educate the patient and/or family in therapy administration via IV Infusion therapy preparation and administration Patient safety, monitoring, and post-infusion follow-up Communication with patients, families, infusion pharmacy, and medical providers as necessary A successful infusion field nurse will collaborate with the infusion manager, coordinators, and other internal office staff. They will conduct on-site field visits to provide patient care and, upon request, supervise nursing staff competence. They must be able to multitask and prioritize work responsibilities.
