Responsibilities CNM will attend Association of Women's Health Onstetric and Neonatal Nurses advanced fetal monitoring training every two years. The CNM will be credentialed through Medical staff, initial and on-going. Overview POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Emergency Department director, manager and charge nurses, this position encompasses the provision and management of emergency patient care through implementation of the nursing process, delegation to and supervision of licensed and unlicensed personnel, and coordination of interdisciplinary care. Demonstrates knowledge of emergency disease processes, trauma, behavioral health emergencies, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, pediatric emergencies, and medical/surgical emergencies. Proficient in emergency nursing interventions, medication administration, patient monitoring, and emergency equipment. Strong organizational, time management, delegation, and prioritization skills. Demonstrates competency with electronic medical records (EMR), computerized provider order entry (CPOE), patient tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
