Emphasize preventive care, such as immunizations, screenings, and health maintenance activities. Consult with specialists, refer patients to appropriate healthcare providers, and facilitate continuity of care across healthcare settings. Clinical Care: NPs/PAs will be required to perform clinical skills that include but are not limited to; phlebotomy, IV insertion, administering vaccines, and EKGs.
