Summary: LPN I Performs nursing care to residents within an assigned work unit under the supervision/direction of a Registered Nurse. LPN II Performs certified level nursing care to residents within an assigned work unit under the supervision/direction of a Registered Nurse. May work in a charge nurse capacity and acts in accordance with the objectives set forth by the nursing department guidelines. Minimum Qualifications: LPN I Education: Completion of a recognized school of practical nursing approved by the State Board of Nursing Education and Nurse Registration. License/Certification: Must possess a current license as a practical nurse or temporary permit issued by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing Education and Nurse Registration pending the results of the licensing examination. Triages patient phone calls following established guidelines and prescribed format for identifying patient's health problems or concerns, and providing quality patient care. Practice Infectious Disease Registered Nurse

Summary The Practice Infectious Disease RN provides specialty care and treatment, as directed by the provider, under the supervision of the practice manager, by evaluation and assessment skills specific to Infectious Disease nursing. Will cross over to assessment and care planning for in-patient, Emergency Room and Ambulatory Care Center patients, as well as case management of patients without resources and/or for the infectious disease and HIV population. Education Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree desirable. Certification, Registration & Licensure Certification required to obtain: Certification in Infection Control within 3 years of hire. Licensure required: Registered Nurse licensure through the NH State Board of Nursing. Experience Minimum of two years experience in acute care or medical/surgical setting. Experience with IV/PICC placement and management required. Experience with Infectious disease desirable. Additional expertise or clinical functions will be required to be obtained within one year.
