This role plays a critical part in providing safe, supportive, and clinically appropriate care to individuals beginning their recovery journey from substance use disorders. Our nursing team helps stabilize clients through the detox process while delivering compassionate care in a structured behavioral health environment. What You’ll Do Provide nursing care and support to clients throughout the detoxification process. Complete nursing assessments for new admissions and ongoing client needs. Administer medications and support withdrawal management protocols. Perform and document COWS and CIWA assessments according to established protocols. Monitor client health status and communicate changes to medical providers and clinical leadership. Provide medication education and support clients in understanding their treatment plans. Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure coordinated, quality care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Ensure medical equipment and supplies are maintained and available.
