Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Medical Assistant performs a variety of patient care and clerical activities to assist physicians, nursing and clerical personnel. Responsibilities will include all lab patient registration processing and assist with patient care and triage. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year experience in pediatrics preferred (Care Partner, Medical Assistant or CNA). HemOnc experience preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Education/Licensure/Certifications: Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program required.
