Job Summary: We are seeking two dedicated Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (ACNPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our Hospital Medicine team as Nocturnists. Providers will deliver comprehensive overnight inpatient care, manage admissions, respond to acute clinical changes, and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. This full-time position offers a highly desirable 7-on/7-off schedule and the opportunity to practice in a supportive, team-oriented environment while maintaining an excellent work-life balance. What you will do in this role: Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention. Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Performs exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively. Teaches patients/families/caregivers about patient medical condition, patient status, treatment plan, medications and possible side effects, and follow-up measures. Translates complex medical terminology to ensure complete understanding. Teaches patients/families/caregivers about any non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as healthy diet and exercise, disease prevention, and/or other lifestyle changes. Prepares patients and families/caregivers for future self-management.
