We are looking for someone with Ortho Spine experience with the following procedures: ALIF, PLIF, ACDF, TLIF, LLIF/XLIF, discectomy, laminectomy, foraminotomy, corpectomy, microdiscectomy, etc. The shift is a 10 hour day shift 3 days/week 0645-1730 & 1 day/week 0645-1630 . It is located at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines La Jolla. On Call-varied shifts with 45 minute call back time is required. These RN positions are moving to 12-hour shifts. Hillcrest is a 24/7 Level 1 trauma Center and is the San Diego Regional Burn Center. Hillcrest surgical services include, Trauma, Ortho Trauma, Burns, Head and Neck, Neurology, Ophthalmology Orthopedics, Robotics, Urology, Plastics, Pulmonary, General, Gynecology, Oncology, Transplants: Liver/Kidney, Vascular and Gynecology. Autonomous nursing care is the ability of a nurse to assess and provide nursing actions as appropriate for patient care populations based on competence, professional expertise, and knowledge. The nurse is expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA and ARON Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. RN License issued by the State of California. BART or BLS at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS BSN/MSN ACLS and/or ART CNOR Scrub experience SPECIAL CONDITIONS Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and various locations based on the 24-hour Medical Center's business needs.
