PFW NICU offers the highest possible level of specialized treatments as well as expert specialists for babies born prematurely and with unique health challenges. It is located on the 7th & 8th floor of the Pavilion for Women Tower and is a private room unit with a transition area. The private bed unit fosters teamwork and collaboration amongst the nurses. Babies admitted to this unit are born in the Pavilion for Women Labor and Delivery unit or may have transferred in from other facilities. A team of NICU-specialized nurses, providers, respiratory therapists, social workers, child life specialists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, music therapists, care coordinators, and pharmacists come together to care for our patients and families.
