The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work on a Full-time basis out of Helio Health’s Syracuse Opioid Treatment Program. Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday In addition to Helio Health’s comprehensive benefits package, all Full-Time LPNs are eligible for a Sign-On incentive up to $4,000 ! Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour. Responsibilities Works in a variety of clinical settings providing medical and counseling services as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team. Provide client services for medical issues. Monitors and documents clients’ medical status, signs and symptoms of withdrawal and reports to supervisor or medical director. Works with other medical staff for continuity of clients’ medical care. Communicates with clinical staff regarding clients’ medical concerns. Works directly with clients in providing medical services and interpreting medical information. Provides direct client care of medical assessment, implementation of medical orders, communicable and infectious disease reporting in accordance with the law. Provides public health and screening protocols. Provides and documents medical consultation, assessment, examination, and treatment planning and review consistency with agency policy and requirements Qualifications Must be a licensed practical nurse currently registered by the New York State Education Department. Experience and/or training in the treatment of substance abuse and/or substance dependency preferred. Basic computer skills required.
