Overview: Serves as a member of the critical care team by assisting in the management of critically ill patients in the hospital. Applies specialized skills and knowledge related to all ICU settings in which they practice. Interfaces with patients using monitoring and instrumentation equipment, and directs and educates others in performing these functions. 7. Formulates and implements a treatment plan for acute illness management in collaboration with the attending physician(s) and documents in medical records and appropriate narrative summaries. 8. Assesses patients for changes in status and institutes appropriate interventions, including initiation of necessary emergency interventions to stabilize the patient. 9. DSD Services teammates have access to all the capabilities and resources DaVita has to offer. Teammates must be comfortable working autonomously and have demonstrated the ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources across the organization. DaVita operates 6-chair dialysis dens on-site at Skilled Nursing Facilities. The Atlanta area facilities are currently operating on Mondays,Wednesdays, and Fridays. The hours are likely to be about 5 am-5 pm, but operations could expand in the future. The local DaVita SNF Dialysis dens are on-site at AG Rhodes Atlanta, AG Rhodes Welsey Woods and Meadowbrook in Tucker. The RN could get some hours at a DaVita outpatient hemodialysis facility to maintain full-time hours. Job Summary Location: Camp Creek Health Center The Nurse Practitioner (NP) performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, orders, conducts, supervises, interprets diagnostic and laboratory test, and prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease. Promotes health and the prevention of illness and injury. Practices autonomously and in collaboration with other health care professional to treat and manage patient health problems.
