The Telemetry Units can house 21 patients, 10 semi-private rooms and 1 private room. Also in consideration is the swing rooms counted on AMCU. Four semi-private room are dedicated to the CTS unit. The 4 CTS rooms have the ability for bedside monitors. May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Provides and oversees patient care according to planned interventions with regard to their age and developmental needs to attain the patient's optimal level of wellness and documents according to policy. Creates and ensures implementation of a collaborative plan of care based on assessment, diagnosis and medical treatment. Location ST. LOUIS, MO 63108 Scheduled Hours 40 Position Summary Provides direct patient care and education for patients receiving treatments, examinations, surgeries, etc., in a medical office according to established procedures. Work schedule and shifts: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Clinic overview: Nurse will be required to support providers in clinical setting. Nurse will be responsible for patient scheduling, OR scheduling, testing, medications and other others, patient education, pre-operative and post-operative care in an outpatient setting. The section has clinics in multiple locations and the nurse will be responsible to attend different clinic locations based on provider needs. This is a fast paced and high volume section, that prioritizes patient care and positive outcomes for patient satisfaction. Additional duties would include patient triage, answering phones and EPIC messages, routine patient follow through and other administrative tasks associated with nursing staff.
