Perform respiratory treatments, injections, and immunizations according to TrueCare protocols or standing orders. Change dressings on wounds. Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records. Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets, and physicians' instructions to patients. Discharge patients from visit per patient discharge protocols. Schedule appointments for patients, as needed. Refer calls to medical staff when appropriate for emergency or medical questions. Home Health Weekend RN

The RN would be on call from Friday at 4:30 pm until Monday at 8:00 am. The RN would be responsible to cover any as-needed visits that arise, as well as scheduled weekend visits including admission visits. Compensation will include an on-call stipend PLUS pay per visit for each visit completed. The Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining medical records. May advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Licensing or registration is required.
