Serve as primary contact for families, physicians, and ancillary providers regarding resident care. Participate in daily management meetings and contribute to emergency preparedness planning. Qualifications: Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum 2–3 years clinical experience in long-term care or subacute rehabilitation; prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred. Familiarity with CMS regulations, MDS process, and DPH survey standards. Strong leadership, delegation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency with electronic medical records. Physical & Working Conditions: Ability to stand, walk, and move intermittently during shifts. The Inpatient Pain FLEX Nurse Practitioner provides expert, evidence-based care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions throughout the hospital. The NP is an integral member of a multidisciplinary team that partners closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, intensivists, hospital medicine providers, nurses, pharmacists, rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, and palliative care providers to optimize pain management, functional recovery, and patient outcomes. In this FLEX role, the NP will be providing coverage for existing LOAs in various areas of the Pain Team. Responsibilities include: Perform comprehensive assessments, obtain medical histories, conduct physical examinations, and develop individualized pain management plans for hospitalized patients with acute, chronic, postoperative, and medically complex pain conditions. Manage patients receiving multimodal analgesia, including opioid and non-opioid therapies, ketamine infusions, patient-controlled analgesia (PCA), epidural analgesia, peripheral nerve catheters, methadone, and other advanced pain management modalities. Assess and manage patients requiring opioid or sedative weaning following prolonged critical illness or hospitalization. Monitor treatment response, adjust pain management plans, and coordinate ongoing care throughout hospitalization. Job Description: I. Position Summary: The primary role of the Patient Care Associate (PCA), is to protect, sustain, and nurture the patients that live at the Center. They provide assistance with activities of daily living, care of the patient’s environment, and meet other needs as required. The goal of the work of the Patient Care Associate, is to provide assistance that promotes a high quality of life for the patients. Qualifications : Long term chronic care PCA and MCU PCA: Certified Nursing Assistant certification is preferred in good standing upon hire or current enrollment in a nursing school, having completed first clinical experience.
