A Brief Overview Ahuja 5 th floor is a 36 bed medical/surgical unit, in which all beds have cardiac monitoring capability. It is comprised of all private rooms. Our patients range from 18 years old to 100+. On the 5 th floor, an interdisciplinary approach is used to provide safe, patient/centered quality care to those we care for, assisting in returning the patient to his or her optimal potential. The unit is staffed by a Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, RN’s, LPN’s, PCA’s and Clerical Associates. We work along-side the hospitalist team, community providers as well as many of the hospitals Nurse Practitioners and Physicians assistants.
