Job Requirements Job Description Functioning under moderate supervision, the Clinical Nurse II is, at minimum, a competent practitioner. This level clinician utilizes the nursing process in providing patient care and patient/family teaching. The practitioner organizes and implements safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes. Patients served may include neonate through adult-geriatric. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: The following statements reflect the general duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job and should not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements of the position. The specific job duties may be changed by the department manager with or without prior notice based on the needs of the organization. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the position, the candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing; currently licensed as an RN in the State of Maryland; successful completion of required hospital, nursing and unit orientation, including but not limited to BLS certification and medication certification. Maintains criteria for and has demonstrated proficiency at the Clinical Nurse I level and meets eligibility requirements for Clinical Nurse II.
