Position Overview: Role: BE/BC Adult/Geriatric Psychiatrist Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric populations Schedule: weekends, vacation coverage, and holidays Employment Type: PRN Hospital employed W-2 Position Highlights: Daily rate is offered for PRN rounding on unit and ER consults. Flat rate for overnight call Work within an exceptional team environment backed by supportive leadership. On-site/tele-psychiatry options are both available, catering to patients 18 through senior adult populations with NP assistance. Key Responsibilities: Conducts comprehensive medical assessments to evaluate patient health status and needs. Formulates accurate medical diagnoses using evidence‑based clinical judgment. Provides medication management, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting treatment plans. Develops individualized treatment plans that align with best practices and patient goals. Demonstrates strong communication skills to support clear, compassionate interactions. Fosters collaborative relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care. Requirements: Board Certified/Board Eligible in General with Geriatric Fellowship and BC in Geriatric Psychiatry preferred. Must be comfortable and experienced treating Geriatric populations.
