Description Kindred Hospital Paramount and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) is 177-bed hospital. With 159 long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) beds, we offer the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recovery period. Our 18-bed ARU is designed for people who have experience the debilitating effects of an acute injury, impairment or illness and like the LTACH, we partner with your physician and offer 24-hour clinical care seven days a week so you can start your journey to wellness. Job Summary The Charge Nurse manages a designated group of nursing employees on a nursing unit and assures smooth operations of the unit for a designated staff. (Could encompass one or more units depending upon size and clinical programs.) Scope of work may be modified by State specific rules under the Nurse Practice Act. Essential Functions Assesses, plans, coordinates and evaluates residents’ care along with members of the interdisciplinary team. We are looking for a caring and dedicated CNAs and/or RNAs for all shifts (AM/PM/NOC). Full Time and Part Time positions are available for all shifts. Responsibilities: - Assist residents with activities of daily living to include: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting. - Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans. - Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments. - Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor. - Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.
