The NNP functions within approved scope and credentials as approved by Beebe Medical Center credentialing committee and in accordance with the Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations. The candidate must be able to function independently, direct a team, and perform all skills related to resuscitation and stabilization. A pediatric hospitalist is present for 8 hours a day and on call from home for the remainder of the 24-hour shift. You will work with a small established team of NNPs who provide 24/7 coverage. The current model is 24 hour shifts with the occasional moonlighting shift. The NNP call room is adjacent to L&D and functions as both office and sleep space for the NNP team. The Director of Women's and Children's Services serves as liaison between the NNP team, Beebe Medical Group, and the hospital. We average 60-70 births per month and 4-6 transfers per month.
