The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN Resident provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN Resident serves as an advocate for patients, families and caregivers to support an unparalleled patient experience. What will you do in this role: Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Serves as a resource to staff and assists with scheduling, education, and performance initiatives. As a Clinical Coordinator RN you will: Coordinate staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations. Identify and resolve issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow. Perform quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives. Serve as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures. Monitor departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements. Provide direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice. Participate in performance improvement and continuing education. Provide quality patient care and work other shifts/units as needed; may be assigned on-call. Maintain regular and reliable attendance. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED). Current national certification such as a CMA, RMA, CCMA, or NCMA required. CPR certification required. Successful ability to work with teams across the business to maximize the impact of the overall business effort. A minimum of 1 year recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant or combination of experience and documented internship in a medical office preferred.
