Educate the patient and/or family in therapy administration via IV Infusion therapy preparation and administration Patient safety, monitoring, and post-infusion follow-up Communication with patients, families, infusion pharmacy, and medical providers as necessary A successful infusion field nurse will collaborate with the infusion manager, coordinators, and other internal office staff. They will conduct on-site field visits to provide patient care and, upon request, supervise the competence of nursing staff. They must be able to multitask and prioritize work responsibilities. Time management skills are essential to the success of this role. Clinical documentation is paperless, so using a computer and tablet is key.
