Location: Acute Care Hospital Tower Our dynamic 56-bed Medical/Surgical unit opening in October of 2026 is designed to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The unit features 20 double-occupancy rooms and 16 private rooms, supporting a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Your Role: As the Care Giver/Medication Technician , your role includes providing hands-on care, administering medications, and offering physical and emotional support to residents while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment. Position Highlights: Status: PRN Schedule: All Shifts & times Location: 201 Watermere Dr., Southlake, TX 76092 Rate of Pay: 17.00 What You’ll Do: Provide compassionate care and supervision for assigned residents, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, eating) while promoting dignity, independence, and safety. Administer and observe medications and treatments in accordance with the Six Rights of Medication Pass, documenting accurately and reporting concerns promptly, including refusal of medications or missed doses Monitor and record resident conditions, including changes in behavior, appetite, skin, and participation in activities. Engage residents in enrichment programs and life skills activities to support overall well-being. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment in resident rooms, community areas, and medication/treatment spaces. Respond promptly to resident call bells and community security systems. Communicate effectively with residents, families, supervisors, and healthcare staff regarding care needs and changes in condition. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, infection control protocols, and confidentiality policies. Other duties as assigned.
