About this Job: Inpatient Solid Tumor Nurse Practitioner MedStar Georgetown University Hospital’s Division of Hematology and Oncology is seeking a qualified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our inpatient Solid Tumor Oncology team at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. As part of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, our oncology team provides specialized care for patients with a broad range of solid tumor malignancies. The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with medical oncologists, fellows, residents, nursing, pharmacy, case management, palliative care, and other multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive inpatient care for patients throughout their cancer treatment journey. This position is full-time (1.0 FTE) and primarily dedicated to the inpatient setting. The ACNP will work closely with the attending medical oncologist, fellows, residents, and interdisciplinary care team to manage hospitalized oncology patients, participate in daily rounds, coordinate diagnostic and treatment plans, respond to changes in clinical status, and facilitate safe and timely transitions of care.
