State-of-the-art unit featuring; 14 Antepartum Rooms,9 Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) Rooms, 6 Critical Care OB Rooms, 2 Operating Rooms, 2 Recovery Bays, 2 Triage Rooms Staffing aligned with AWHONN standards to support quality patient care and nurse well-being. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS This position is a Labor & Delivery nursing role at UW Medical Center and includes practice at both UW Medical Center and Seattle Children's Hospital as part of the UW Medical Center–Seattle Children's Fetal Intervention Program. FETAL PROGRAM PARTNERSHIP Admit patients for scheduled fetal procedures and fetal surgeries. Provide intra-procedural nursing support during fetal interventions and surgeries as part of a multidisciplinary care team. Recover patients following procedures, including monitoring maternal and fetal status and delivering post-anesthesia and post-procedure care.
