SUMMARY: The RN is responsible for providing direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. The Birthing Center offers two levels of nursery care and includes a physician lounge equipped with a screen for fetal monitoring of each patient. Opportunity Highlights Anticipated Work Schedule & Support: 8 am to 4:30 pm M-F No Call Schedule 2 NP’s, 2 Sonographers, & a phlebotomist provide Clinic support Types of Outpatient Visits: Well-woman exams, OB returns, GYN problems (bleeding, vaginitis, breast lumps, pain, and postpartum depression), referrals from outside providers, IUD insertions, IUD follow-ups, Nexplanon insertion, and post-partum visits. The nurse practitioner will have their own panel of patients but will also work as an extender to the physicians of the practice. **Women’s health and EPIC experience are a plus but not a requirement. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. This position is regularly required to stand, frequently required to walk and push or pull, occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel crouch or crawl, talk or hear, and smell and must frequently lift and/or move greater than 50lbs.
