Med Surg RN Position Summary The Med Surg RN provides general nursing care to a diverse population of patients affected by cardiopulmonary, neurological, and surgical conditions. Examples of patients include dysrhythmias, COPD, CHF, HHNK, CVA/TIA, acute infectious disease, post-op surgical recovery and complex wound care. The Med Surg RN is responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of patient care utilizing ANA Standards and the Nursing Process. The Med Surg RN acts as a patient advocate.
