Job Description Summary: This position will work directly with Women's Health Leadership team to provide designated clinical unit(s) with educational support, including needs assessments, execute on project work within the care site in the areas of process improvement, quality improvement, evidence-based practice and communication. The NPD practitioner demonstrates expertise in the identified roles: learning facilitator, change agent, mentor, leader, champion for scientific inquiry, advocate for NPD specialty and partner for practice transitions. Responsibilities include onboarding/orientation, competency management, education, professional role development, collaborative partnerships, research, evidenced based practice, and quality improvement. This role is 24 hours in Clinical Education and is meant to be paired with a 12-hour Staff RN role in the new Women's Health Pavilion Medical Surgical Unit, SSU, specialty post-partum population.
