Unit Description Our Banner Boswell Ortho PCU is a combined acute care specialty unit serving both Progressive Care and Medical Surgical patients as part of our Progress in Place initiative. Our 5A/5B is a 41-bed unit specializing in the care of post operative orthopedic patients including pre and post-op surgical care for a wide range of orthopedic cases ranging from total joint replacements to fractures. As a RN on our unit, you will assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care of our patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. 5D is a 20-bed orthopedics and GI post-surgical unit, dedicated to the care of postoperative gastrointestinal surgeries. This inpatient unit specializes in the care of GI patients including pre and post-op surgical care for a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders as well as general medical/surgical overflow.
