Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of RN experience , with at least 1 year in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility . Prior supervisory experience strongly preferred. Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred). Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of NYS DOH and CMS nursing home regulations. Familiarity with MDS documentation, infection control, fall prevention, and pressure injury protocols. Skills: Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving ability. Excellent leadership, delegation, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle emergencies calmly and professionally. Proficiency in electronic health records (e.g., PointClickCare, SigmaCare). Work Conditions Work performed in a skilled nursing facility environment. Requires standing and walking for extended periods and occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. May require evening, night, weekend, or holiday shifts. Must be able to travel between Bronx facilities if needed.
