The Medical Assistant provides basic patient care and performs job specific tasks under the direct supervision of a physician or other licensed medical provider according to established policies and procedures. Performs activities necessary to provide for the personal needs, comfort and safety of patients and their families. Responsibilities include clinical, environmental, and administrative duties in designated areas. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Experience Other Graduate of Medical Assistant program. The registered nurse develops, implements and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care and implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines. Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area. Assists the RN by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support staff as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Customer Service Program into all aspects of patient care activities. Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Trade School Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant Program or current Nursing student with satisfactory completion of at least one clinical rotation Required Experience 1 year experience in a Nursing Assistant role Preferred Licenses Basic Life Support Required 
Scrubs for surgical procedures and prepares the surgical field based upon the specific procedure and surgeon's preference. Performs duties adhering to stringent standards of aseptic techniques and in accordance with Operating Room and hospital policies and procedures. Certification requirement is only for those individuals hired after December 29, 2020' Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Other Operating Room Technician training program that includes on-the-job training Required or Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required Experience 1 year experience in an operating room Preferred Licenses Basic Life Support Required Cert Operating Room Tech Required or Cert Surgical Tech Required
