LVN Licensed Vocational Nurse Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), the Licensed Vocational Nurse delivers efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction. Performs drug count when beginning and ending shift and whenever necessary; 7. Assists physician in rounds and examination of patients, as needed; 8. Participates in shift-to-shift communication between incoming and outgoing nursing staff; 9. Collaborates and coordinates with other departments to provide timely effective care consistent with individual’s needs, choices and preferences; 10. Graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing is required. 2. Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing. 3. Base rate + 7.5% Evening Shift Differential Qualifications & Requirements Education Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required. Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Business Administration, or other health-related fields from an accredited college or university is preferred Experience Previous experience in developing successful transition plans involving community resources for persons with medical, substance use, and/or mental illness is preferred. Licenses/Certifications Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment. Must maintain CPR certification, and any other certifications (such as First Aid) required by contract. Must be able to attain and maintain security clearance to the facility.
